The Colors of Spring :: 52 Weeks of Photos

I’m part of a group of pet photographers that post an image or series of images every Friday that reflect on a particular theme as part of a “52 Project” — or a project to take a new photo every week for a year. Each photographer links to one another in a way that allows you to click through and view some great photos of some very cute pets.:-)Follow along by clicking the link in each post until you find yourself back where you started — here!

Even though it’s only April, calling my weekly photo project a “52 Project” is very generous at this point! But while I don’t always find the time to take part in the weekly assignment, I love that it’s always there, giving me a reason to go out and shoot things that I wouldn’t necessarily photograph otherwise. Like this week, with a looming deadline and the weather nice after a midweek rainstorm, I decided to take Sam on a walk and just see what we could come up with. I ended up finding so many colors that I couldn’t fit them all in one photo, so I put together the photo collage below. I hope you like it!

If you’d like to see more color, head on over to see what Central Coast Pet Photographer Sharon Stokes has in store. 🙂 Since she lives in another hemisphere, I’m willing to bet that the colors are a tad different!

Love all the images in your collage, they would look great grouped on a wall. Sam has such depth of soul in his eyes.

Truly beautiful, although I’m a little jealous as we have had a some random snowflakes this week.
